Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or Statistics, or other quantitative field with 9+ years of experience; or, Master’s with 7+ years of experience or PhD with 4+ years of experience. Advanced degree is highly preferred.
Proven experience delivering sequencing based clinical diagnostic products supporting both laboratory technology and bioinformatics pipeline development.
Prior experience developing IVD products is helpful.
In depth knowledge of sequencing molecular biology, bioinformatics tools, statistical methods, and cancer biology.
Proficient in using programming languages (R, Python, Java) in a distributed Linux environment.
Results oriented individual that thrives in collaborative multi-disciplinary teams.
Excels at incorporating feedback in a professional manner.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to adjust to technical and non-technical audiences.
