Requirements
- PhD applicants should hold a MSc/Diploma and outstanding skills in computer science, physics, mathematics or a related discipline
- you should have a strong experience in bioinformatics, including next generation sequencing pipelines, data processing, analysis and visualization
- strong knowledge about standards used in bioinformatics and systems medicine
- proficiency with programming languages such as Python, R or C++
- prior experience in software development, version control system (e.g. git) and containers (e.g. Docker)
- knowledge about statistical and machine learning
- basic knowledge about relational databases and SQL
- experience with Unix/Linux
- pro-active learning
- ability to work independently as well as a team-member
- excellent communication and organizational skills
