The Bioinformatics and Open Science Skills (BOSS) event series results from a collaboration between OpenScienceKE and the Bioinformatics Hub of Kenya Initiative (BHKi) and is funded by the CS&S events fund. The BOSS events seek to empower researchers with skills and tools in Open Science and Bioinformatics using the sensitize-train-hack-collaborate model.
The BOSS conference 2022 is the culmination of the 5 phase BOSS Events that have taken place from October 2021 to April 2022. It is a learning and networking event where our community members will present their work, learn from their mentors, interact with other researchers, etc.
We invite submissions to the BOSS conference 2022. BOSSCon2022 covers all aspects of bioinformatics and open science, including (but not limited to) these topics:
- Open Science
- Genomics (Plant, Animal, Pathogen, Human)
- One Health
- Unconference (Scientific communication, Capacity Development, etc.)
We welcome original contributions, research proposals, thought pieces, and round-table discussions. Submissions can be done on this link: https://bit.ly/3JEKFzJ.
